This text is about Encyclopedia Britannica which is designed for general public. The purpose is to introduce the company of Britannica.

The Britannica is the oldest English-language encyclopedia/encyclopedia still in production. It was first published between 1768 and 1771 in the Scottish capital of  Edinburgh as three volumes.The encyclopedia grew in size. Its rising stature as a scholarly work helped recruit eminent contributors, and the 9th (1875–1889) (1911) are landmark encyclopedias for scholarship and literary style.
